This mirror is related to the August 1st troupe of the red school (the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army School). At that time, in addition to fighting, the Red Army had to publicize the masses, organize the masses and establish workers' and peasants' political power. Therefore, all units attached great importance to publicity work.

In the spring and summer of 1932, encouraged by Ouyang Qin, director of the Political Department of the red school, and other responsible comrades, led by the drama Management Committee of the red school club, the first drama troupe in the Central Soviet Area, the red school Bayi troupe, was established in Ruijin.

This unit named after "August 1" was one year earlier than the establishment of the "August 1" army building day. In June 1932, the CPC Central Committee proposed the "red August 1 anti imperialist war day", but at this time, it did not link August 1 with the establishment of the Red Army. On June 23, 1933, it was clearly mentioned in the Central Committee's resolution on the "August 1 anti imperialist war day" that this year's "August 1 anti war day" should be the anniversary of the establishment of the Red Army ". On June 26, In accordance with the relevant resolutions of the Central Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Central Bureau of the Soviet area made the "decision of the Central Bureau on the" August 1 "International Anti War struggle day and the commemoration of the establishment of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army", and put forward several requirements for commemorating activities. On June 30, Xiang Ying, acting chairman of the Central Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, signed and issued the order of the Central Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the "August 1" as the commemoration day of the establishment of the Chinese workers' and peasants', It opened the curtain for the introduction of the army building day. In order to commemorate the Nanchang riots and the establishment of the Red Army, the Committee has decided to mark the "establishment anniversary of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army" on August 1 every year since 1933.

As soon as the Bayi troupe was born, it was welcomed by the people of the entire revolutionary base area. Letters inviting public performances and asking for scripts and materials were sent from the front and rear. The interim central government held various meetings or important activities, and often invited troupes to perform. The performances include "I - the Red Army", "who sacrificed for", "squirrel", "living Bodhisattva" and "Shenyang trumpet" "Armed", "class", "whose evil", "the final victory belongs to us", etc. the troupe is often invited to villages and towns to publicize in the form of popular forms (such as live newspaper dramas). Sometimes they perform at the market on the border of the Soviet Area, and some Kuomintang soldiers also quietly come to watch. After receiving great education, they take the initiative to surrender.

Although the Bayi troupe is only a troupe of the Red Army school, driven and influenced by it, many amateur troupes have been set up in various localities and troops, making drama activities vigorously carried out in the Central Soviet area.

Because of mirror bonding?

At that time, whenever an independent revolutionary team won a battle, it always held a victory celebration and performed several dramas. In addition, when the troops took advantage of the gap between campaigns to rest and rectify, they also held a party with the station as the unit to "perform several of his dramas, so that dramas became an indispensable part of the military's political work" Although they often acted at that time, there was no professional troupe. The Red Army school established the "Bayi Troupe", which was the first troupe in the Central Soviet area.

In the summer of 1932, actor Shi Lianxing, together with the actors of the Bayi troupe, went to the garrison of the first Red Army Corps for a publicity performance. The venue of the performance was a rough open-air space filled with Red Army soldiers and local people. On that day, when the program was halfway through, the enemy plane suddenly came, and the chief commanded everyone to hide quickly. The local people hid everywhere in panic "Bang" With a sound, I don't know who smashed a mirror for the performance makeup. The enemy plane was still hovering overhead, but Shi Lianxing returned to the scene without fear. When she saw the glass fragments all over the ground, she was very regretful and self reproached, because this was the luggage prop she was responsible for carrying. Although this is a mirror for the ordinary makeup performance, it is a weapon for the actors to fight. How can it Shi Lianxing picked up a larger lens from the debris and couldn't help crying.

Just then, a cry came from behind: "hide, don't die!" Shi Lianxing was quickly pulled to a safe area by the man. When he recovered, he found that Zhong Weijian, a tactical teacher of the central military and political school of the Red Army, was standing next to him. At this time, Zhong Weijian saw the fragments of the glass mirror she was holding in her hand. After blaming, he seemed to understand more.

What Shi Lianxing didn't expect was that when he packed up his bags the next day to go to the next point, Zhong Weijian stopped her and handed her a modified triangular mirror. Shi Lianxing was so excited that he took the mirror and looked at it again and again. It was the triangular lens he picked up from the fragments yesterday.

It turned out that Zhong Weijian learned that Shi Lianxing was worried about the broken mirror, so he took the triangular lens on his back and came to a villagers' home and asked the villagers to help frame it with a bamboo. However, the lens was irregular and curved on one side. To fix the whole mirror without falling off, he had to connect it with a bamboo tube at the same time. Therefore, Zhong Weijian They brought saws and other tools together with the villagers, sawed the bamboo tube into one long and one short according to the length of the broken lens, cut the middle part of the long bamboo tube in half, lit a torch, put the two bamboo tubes in the fire and bake them soft, quickly bent and shaped them according to the lens shape, and finally poked a small hole at both ends of the bamboo tube at the bottom, and then installed and fixed it to form a complete and firm triangular mirror. The next day, Zhong Weijian gave the mirror to Shi Lianxing.

Unexpectedly, this triangular mirror became the "matchmaker" of Zhong Weijian and Shi Lianxing. They became a revolutionary partner because of the mirror. Shi Lianxing also regarded this triangular mirror as a part of her life. As long as she performed, she would take it with her.

After victory?

In February 1935, Zhong Weijian was appointed chief of staff of the 10th regiment of the 3rd Red Army. On the 28th, in the battle of Laoya mountain in the Zunyi campaign, the 10th Red Army regiment took on the task of guarding the main peak position. The enemy climbed up the mountain like an ant colony, and all the commanders and fighters of the 10th red army fought with the enemy to the death. The battle lasted for five or six hours and was still stuck. During the fierce battle, the Red Army could not continue its ammunition. Under his leadership, the soldiers rushed out of the trench with great momentum, fought bayonets with the enemy and fought head-on. The enemy retreated one after another. While the Red Army was chasing after the victory, the enemy's artillery bombed Laoya mountain again. Zhong Weijian was shot in the belly. Due to excessive blood loss, he could no longer witness the final victory of the battle.

After Zhong Weijian's long march with the Central Red Army, Shi Lianxing stayed in the Martian troupe in the Central Soviet area. With that triangular mirror and endless thoughts for his relatives, he fought on the simplest Soviet stage with simple and true feelings in the difficult struggle environment with the comrades of the troupe with the revolutionary belief of victory.

Later, the war situation became worse and worse. The members of the troupe were scattered to the guerrillas of various troops. Because it was inconvenient to carry, Shi Lianxing left the mirror in the people's homes in the Soviet area. When collecting cultural relics after the founding of new China, the mirror was collected from the people and kept in the museum.
