In the current situation of global epidemic has not improved significantly, other problems in some western countries have also been exposed, such as the race and human rights problems in the United States. Of course, the problems are more about the human rights of African Americans. In fact, the attitude of the United States towards Asian Americans has not been optimistic.

As early as the 19th century, 34 Chinese people were killed in the United States, and even the murderer became a national hero?

This is what we are talking about today.

The U.S. prison Valley is the deepest and highest Grand Canyon in North America, and Snake River runs through the valley from Yellowstone Park.

In the 1980s, many Chinese came to work in the United States, and therefore, they often saw Chinese faces appear near the prison valley. Until one day, there were several bodies of Chinese on the Snake River, breaking the dream of American prosperity that many Chinese people yearned for.

It was unfortunate to see the corpse. However, the Americans who witnessed the scene were numb, and there was no sympathy and regret. However, the tragedy has not stopped. In the following days, many Chinese bodies continued to appear on land and land.

At the beginning of hair development, 34 Chinese bodies were found before and after. They had no idea what they had experienced. They only saw their incomplete bodies. The painful expression was enough to realize some of their mood at that time.

It was found that these Chinese were ordinary miners who came to the United States to seek gold. After the thieves killed these innocent Chinese, they also took the gold from them and left with a heart. After the incident, our Embassy in the United States wrote nearly 20 letters of protest to the United States government, demanding severe punishment of the murderer. However, the United States government has been open to the matter with one eye closed.

Until then, the United States even built an arched memorial wall of honor, engraved with the names of those murderers, but claimed that they were heroes and pioneers. It was completely silent about the tragic history that happened in the past.

It is necessary to say that the occurrence of this tragedy has an inseparable relationship with the background of the times.

The corruption and incompetence of the Qing government made the domestic society turbulent at that time. In addition, the residents in the coastal areas had a tradition of living abroad for a long time. At this time, foreign countries, especially the United States, are carrying out various development and expansion, which is the time for a large number of labor force, so a large number of Chinese people are pouring into the labor market of the United States.

At first, when Chinese people arrived, we were free from the world, focused on things, and worked efficiently, and won the welcome and love of a large number of Americans. But as Chinese labor is becoming more and more popular in the United States, this has triggered a threat to local labor, so Americans are gradually pushing out Chinese.

Even if the same labor situation, the Chinese may not be paid half of the American, but Americans still feel that the Chinese labor force has received too much, which is the distorted psychology that makes them resent.

However, with the economic crisis and natural disasters in the United States, the social conflicts in the United States are increasing. The transfer of Chinese labor resources makes the people in the right place feel more threatened. Such a mixture of various situations has made the Chinese a target.

First, California began to propose various laws that exclude Chinese labor, trying to deprive workers of basic rights in China.

With the passage of time, other regions have also started to put forward various kinds of proposals for China exclusion. In such cases, on the one hand, in order to transfer its own social contradictions, on the other hand, in order to calm the anti Chinese sentiment in China, the United States finally passed the law on the implementation of the provisions of the Chinese treaties in 1882, which is the commonly said act of China exclusion.

The bill clearly stipulates that no Chinese workers are allowed to enter the United States within ten years, and that Chinese people are not allowed to acquire American nationality and other unfounded provisions. The implementation of the bill not only affects the Chinese who want to go to the United States, but also affects the Chinese who have already lived in the United States. The bill fundamentally deprives the citizens of the Americans, which forces them to return to the country.

However, the development of the matter is far from over. Two years after the bill was promulgated, the United States has revised it. The revised bill makes the condition for Chinese more stringent, which clearly states that whether it is from China or not, as long as it is Chinese, it is restricted by the bill.

At this point, the whole event is full of strong racism, no matter how the United States tries to cover up, it can not cover the essence of the matter.

The real turning point was that in the Second World War, the United States was forced to join the war because of Japanese provocation. In this case, it is necessary for the United States to establish alliance with China.

Therefore, in 1943, Roosevelt, the then president of the United States, signed and passed the magnson act, abolished a series of bills on China exclusion signed and promulgated by the United States government since 1882, and officially broke the deadlock of us exclusion for more than 60 years.

Although the bill was lifted, it was only that the unreasonable restrictions on Chinese people were not imposed on the legal level. After all, the racial discrimination of American against Chinese could not be eliminated in a short time. Many ideas of more than 60 years have been rooted in the American mind. If it is not so easy to improve, the Chinese will still face various discrimination and injustice.

Although there are many minor incidents in the years after that, there are no big disputes between Americans and Chinese, but this does not mean that the racial discrimination in the United States does not exist.

The situation of African Americans is the best example of racism.

Since the civil war, the civil and southern countries had serious differences on whether to implement slavery economy in the newly expanded West, which led to the war. The war lasted for four years, and finally won in the north, and the abolition of slavery was the end. At this time, although the former slaves were free in the legal sense, their status did not change substantially in the actual social work and life.

This also led to the outbreak of a lot of representative ethnic unrest, and the causes of these riots are more or less similar. Most of them are because the police have taken extreme measures against black people, even violent means in some enforcement or inspection actions, which leads to the dissatisfaction of the masses, and people have taken to the streets to protest.

Throughout the history of the United States, there are also a lot of casualties in the ethnic protests, which is the most reluctant to see. The most famous of these protests is the assassination of Martin Luther King and the stir in the United States.

Martin Luther King was educated and influenced by his parents since he was young. He was full of yearning for love and peace. During school, he actively participated in various student movements. Martin Luther King was regarded as a spiritual leader by many African Americans. His sudden death hurt the hearts of countless African Americans. So they went to the street to express their complaints and dissatisfaction.

So there was a massive street riot.

In a moment, it is the 21st century. Those historical events have passed for centuries. However, the racial discrimination in the United States is still serious. Even African Americans are facing more systematic discrimination, especially the African American security problems caused by the violent police enforcement.

The epidemic is undoubtedly a serious problem for African Americans. African Americans are very good at receiving vaccines, which shows that the coverage rate of white American vaccines is about 64% and that of African Americans is only 6%. Besides, they can not be treated equally even the most basic normal work life. According to the authoritative institutions, about 50% of African Americans believe that they are discriminated seriously in job hunting, medical insurance and loan, which makes their original life more difficult.

Although the history of the founding of the United States is not long, however, there are many disastrous events caused by its racism. The great expulsion of the Western Movement and the brutal killing of a large number of Indians have made the American Indians' population decrease by nearly 95% in five centuries. Even now, Indians still live in remote areas.

These past events are evidence of racial discrimination in the United States. But the cases we see today are only a miniature of the history of racial discrimination in the United States. This country, which claims to be the most human rights in the world, has frequently happened in contradiction with its slogan. What is the human rights of the United States?

Fortunately, with the continuous development of our own science and technology and comprehensive national strength, our position in the world is also rising.

Finally, on June 19, 2012, this day was of great significance to all Chinese. The United States apologized to all Chinese for the period of the previous China Exclusion Act.

Public apology, although it can not have any substantial changes to what has happened, it still means extraordinary.

This is not only the embodiment of our international status, but also the result of the common struggle of people who have worked for human rights and equality for generations in China, a peace loving and democratic country. It is because our people have been carrying out and making unremitting efforts to human rights cause that we have a more voice expression in the international arena.
